Tuesday, May 16, 2006

We want to thank everyone for their support with this trauma. We would like to ask that Tuesday be a family day only. Molly's condition remains critical, but stable. We need to let her rest. Your presence has been a tremendous help to us, but we need a day to just be with Molly alone. Please continue to think positive thoughts, build tiny altars, pray, and everything else you have been doing. Check back tomorrow for updates. To the media, please respect our privacy. Your intrusions are very painful to us. The first ammendment was created as a check and balance of the government, not a carte blanche for you to increase your advertising revenues.

Molly, I love you and I'm so glad to see that so many people are supporting you and your family. Just reading the posts from all these concerned people brought my to fucking tears. I don't pray and certainly don't believe in any God, but I do believe in the power of the human mind and know that with love, kindness, optimism and perserverance you can climb out of this whole and any other ones you may fall into in your live. Though I am going out of state for school next year I won't lose touch and will talk and chill with you and your family as much as possible. On a seperate topic, I was wondering if a group of Molly's friends could walk down to the hospital after check out, not to see but to be their to support the family and to show that no matter festive of a time we are having, we all care for Molly right now more than anyone else and will do anything to help you guys are her.

My name is Alec and Molly has been a very close friend since the begining of high school. I was deeply hurt today when Kathy Walsh(CBS Channel 4) and a camera man arrived at East High School during the lunch hour to interview students about the accident. However, Walsh left our school without any information about what had happened. With the help of other students, we were able to honor the Bloom family's wishes regarding the media. I love Molly so much, and will continue to do everything I possibly can for her as well as her family.

Good morning! As I start my day at work, Molly and her family are foremost in my mind. I'm sure everyone knows the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" It also takes a village to care for and support a child and their family. We all are your village.I hope this day brings good news for you.

Molly looks as bold as she is lovely. I hold you all in my thoughts as you face your future boldly.

Molly - I know you from a hard physics class that came so easy to you and I was jealous. You have so much in life and I find myself angry that this happened to you. You have a huge support network and that is awesome-I hope I can be apart of it. You and your family are amazing Molly and I wish you all of the positive energy in the world. Vanessa
