Thank you all for your continuing love and support. Molly remains in critical but stable condition.
We are once again asking for a quiet day for Wednesday. We have decided to set visitation hours from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. It is doubtful that anyone will get to see Molly on Wednesday because she has improved slightly and now needs her rest and we must stay with her most of the time. We understand that it is important for you to come to the hospital and that's OK. You need each other's comfort at this time so come and share stories. Bring pictures. Sign the journal!! Flowers aren't allowed in the room. Thanks to all the students for being respectful of our wishes and the hospital regulations. Remember, there are other families in the same situation. We will try to see you for a short while, if time permits. We love all you guys and are very grateful for your outpouring of love for Molly. Keep it up. It will help her recovery immensely.

Molly and all the Blooms. A voice from way in the past (the "old principal" at Ellis School). Want you all to know that I'm thinking of you. When I heard from an East parent about the accident, so many memories came back - what a wonderful girl with a great family. I'm wishing the best for you. If anyone can make lemonade out of this lemon, it will be you. I hope to be in touch and see what I might do to help. I used to say you guys would never be rid of my so here I am if there is anything I can do.

Hi Molly,
It's Mrs. Stokely, your 4th grade teacher at Ellis. I am praying for you. It is such a shock to hear about your accident. I remember you so well as a kind, thoughtful intelligent student with such a positive attitude. I know that positive spirit will be needed as you recover. I read that your family requested blood donations to Bonfils and I am making an appointment with the Highlands Ranch Center to do that this week. Jill Phillips Strain keeps us informed here and we are all rooting for you. I'm looking forward to hearing about the miracles I know God has planned for you.

Love,

Mrs. S

Hello Molly...
Your story has touched so many people. Your fight to recover is amazing and you certainly had a guardian angel watching out for you. Hang in there.
Hello Bloom Family...
As a parent myself, I can only imagine the horror of what happened. My kids are still quite young and read to them the story of Molly's accident and asked my 2 older kids (ages 10 and 7) to send a little thought her way... a little "get well wish." I hope her recovery is speedy. I'm glad she's making progress. Thank goodness! Please take care! My thoughts are with your family and your daughter for a speedy recovery.

Hi Molly,
I only know of you from hearing of this horrifying accident on the news on Monday night prior to leaving for my business trip.
Then your story hit close to home since upon talking to my good friend Susan, she shared with me that you were the one on the news, her son Greg's date for Prom.
From one former swimmer to another, stay strong and NEVER GIVE up - so many people are praying for you since your story has touched so many of us in so many different ways.
God speed.

I had a class with Molly when I was a freshman, and she was a sophomore-Mrs. Anderson's 2nd period Spanish class. I would just like to say that Molly is probably one of the kindest people at East High School, she has always acted with kindness towards me. I wish her a fast recovery, and I wish her luck for all of her future plans. She deserves the best, for being one of the best people at East High School.

To Molly's Family:

I feel horrible about the incident. Im a freshman at East High School, and i didn't have the pleasure of meeting Molly. Though this is the case, I feel a tremendous amount of sympathy for her and your family. I hope she knows how much everyone at East loves her, and i hope she recovers as full as possible.

Hello Molly,
I am the front desk person at the Lowry Bonfil's donor center. The last couple days people from all over our community have come in to donate in your name. Each of them saying how they are whispering prayers for you and your family. Today several of your friends from school came in and donated for the first time. You are a very loved young lady. Wanted to let you know that our team here at Bonfils wish you the best and are holding you in our thoughts everyday.

Unfortunately this isn't very well published and so I wanted to post it again for the original poster so that we all know. It's hard to sit by and not be able help this little Angel, so this fund is something that we can do and feel good about.

Everyone should be aware that friends of Molly and her family have established a fund to assist Molly's family with the financial costs of her recovery. Checks can be sent to:

Molly Bloom Recovery Fund
c/o Colorado State Bank & Trust
1600 Broadway
Denver, CO 80202

Alternatively, checks can be dropped off at any Colorado State Bank & Trust branch.
