Today was a good day and a bad day. We had a major stride forward and a few setbacks. Molly continues to demonstrate her strength to us. Her condition remains critical but stable. Keep sending the love. We truly believe it helps.
We would like to acknowledge Jim Remley and Josh Schauer, Engine Co. #3, the firemen who rode in the ambulance with Molly. They came to see her today and told us how alert she was in the ride. These two gentlemen kept her talking and took care of her along with the paramedics. You guys had one hard night. Thank you for coming to see her.
The East Lacrosse team is playing in the state championship game on Saturday, May 20, at 5:00?? at Invesco Field at Mile High. GO EAST! We want to thank the team for dedicating the semifinal game to Molly by wearing her initials on their helmets. The team signed a poster for Molly, and it is in her room for her to see when she awakens. Get out and support the team tomorrow.
Once again we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support for Molly. Thanks to the Virginia Village Texaco for the car wash they are sponsoring on Saturday. We also want to extend our gratitude to the Phoebe Hair Apparent Salon in Cherry Creek for their generous offer on behalf of Molly's recovery fund. Her hair looked fabulous, by the way. I will get you pictures when I can. Please tell me the name of her stylist.
A message to our parent, sisters, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins and other kin; thank you for your kind words, thoughts, and deeds. We love you.

Hi, I'm writing from Dubai, United Arab Emirates where your story was posted by CNN. I'm American (from Florida) and just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts. I have two boys (3 & 5) and I know that if anything happened to them, I would want to know that people are thinking of them with love and hope. It sounds like you are getting better and that is great news. Keep up the good work of getting better and know that this is a challenge that you can beat. Lots of love and prayers from camel country. Cheers, Michelle

Molly,
I graduated from East last year and was in your AP Biology class. I remember your extremely positive presence in the classroom. Ever since I heard your story, you have constantly been in my thoughts and those of many of my family and friends. Please know that there is so much love and hope around you. You are not alone.

Mom & Dad Bloom -

My guess is its late Sat night and you're just back from the hospital. Go to bed and get some rest. I'm sure its been another long day. This isn't a sprint, its a marathon. Lay down and close your eyes even if you can't sleep.

I was in a similar situation to Molly's back in 1971. My parents were in your unlucky shoes. I remember the terror, the sadness, the anger. My parents had their own mix of those emotions leavened with parental guilt ("I should have known".."if only I had")

Go to bed. I hope tomorrow brings continued progress for Molly.

Molly and family,
An East High school alumni, I remember Molly as one of our bright, cheerful, focused swimmers as a freshman during "initiation" week (I was one of "her" seniors). I cant help but smile when I visualize her sweet smile, sunny disposition and truely fearless gusto. Although I cant think of anyone this incident might be more devestating to (without at all assuming that anyone deserves this fate), I also cannot think of anyone who could handle this like her. Just like everything else she puts her spirit into, she will come out a winner. My daily prayers are with you.
